Chasing the Dream

Went with Ryan Zimmerman to the La Paloma Theater to see this one. It was actually really good. Kids from HB High School to go Australia to see if they have what it takes to be a pro someday. Lots of David Eggars footage and commentary and where he is today which was a pretty sad story. Good movie though.

Pinback at the DMRT and One California Day at La Paloma

Saw a free Pinback show at the Del Mar Race Track Friday with Casey and his girlfriend. Good show. Went with Ryan, Max and a few others to see One California Day at La Paloma Theater and that was a reallly good movie to check out. Some great waves and some great surfing in it.

The Cult at the Del Mar Race Tracks

Went with Cheryl to see the Cult at the Del Mar Race Tracks. We could care less about the races but you have to get through all of that to get to the show. It was an amazing show as always and the backdrop with the mountains behind the stage as the sun was going down was pretty incredible looking too. Really great show. Saw Casey his girlfriend and actually ran into Randy Paulfus (spelling?) who I haven't seen in over 11 years who I knew back home in Melbourne Beach. Pretty cool.
